For a week or a night you can stay in a self catering Guest House/Holiday Home named Gite/Maison d'hôtes in the unique environment of the castle and its gardens. Guest houses can be provided with a total of  one to 11 bedrooms.

Guesthouses are located in the nearby outbuildings which have been recently refurbished and organized to provide quality accommodation to the pleasure of our guests.

All guest houses are fully equipped with recent appliances and bedding. They are available for

- one night, knowing that each bedrooms has its own private shower/toilet facility

- several nights, knowing that they are provided with a kitchen and a living room

- on a weekly basis, for one or several weeks

All combinations are possible, depending on your family or group structure from one to 14.

Additional information

When arriving beds are ready to sleep in, couches excepted. Shower towels are provided, as well as what is necessary for the kitchen cleaning.

The Farm Guest House (100-125 m²)

Facing South with an open view on the pretty countryside and the peaceful village of Usseau a couple hundred metres down below.

This Guest house can be rented with 2 or up to 5 bedrooms depending upon your needs. It is very suitable also for an extended family or a group of friends.

 

Ground floor (60 m²) :
  • Large living/dining room (30 m²) with a fireplace, two couches (one can be used as a spare bed).
  • Fully equipped kitchen
  • Shower/toilet bathroom
  • Shared laundry room: washing machine and dryer, iron.
Second floor (42-67 m²) :
  • Master bedroom named Chambre Rose with a direct access to the bathroom. Double 160 x 200cm (63” x 79”)
  • The small Chambre Bleue : one double 140 x 190 cm (55" x 75")and one single  90 x 190cm ( 36”x 75”)
  • Toilet
  • The Chambre Jaune: one double 140 x 200 cm (55” x 79”) and one single 90 x 190cm (35” x 75”). Private bathroom with toilet and multijet-shower. This room can used for itself alone or joined to other bedrooms/guest houses (double access)

Outdoors :

  • A small private garden with table and chairs.
  • Possibility to use the little bakery house for BBQ.
  • Acharcoal BBQ can be provided if desired.
  • Shed (80 m²) in case of rain.
  • Large grass area for children to play.
  • Parking next to the guest house.

The Regisseur Guest House (45-65 m2)

This new guest house extends the Farm guest house with the same view on the countryside facing the South and the East. It can be reached either from the Function Room or directly from the Gardens in the back.

This Guest House can be rented either with one or two bedrooms.

Living room (22m²) with a convertible couch

Small kitchen, all equipped.

 

La Chambre “Fuschia”: double 160 x 200 cm (63” x 79”).and one or two single beds 90 x 200cm (35” x 79”). Private bathroom with toilet and multijet-shower.

 

La Chambre “Tilleul”,double 160 x 200 cm (63” x 79”). Private bathroom with toilet and multijet-shower. This bedroom can be used separately or attached to one of the guests houses (double access)

 

Outdoors :

Quiet garden environment provided with table and chairs

  • A charcoal barbecue can be provided.
  • Private parking near the guest house.

The « D’En-Haut » Guesthouse (72 m2)

Also facing South, this Guest House has no neighbours and is separated from the castle by the Medieval garden named Hortus Conclusus. It is located above a room which can be used as a garage for one car. There are two entrances, either through the lower room or from the back where the swimming pool is located.

  • Living room/kitchen all equipped. A convertible couch can be used for sleeping visiting guests when needed.
  • Master bedroom with a double 160 x 200 cm (63” x 79”).
  • Additional bedroom with twin beds 90 x 190cm (37” x 77”)
  • Bathroom with spacious shower, as well as a bath and toilet.
  • The toilet of the pool area is also available.

Outdoors :

  • From the back door you access the pool directly. This door should be locked in case there are children less than 18 y.o., unless there is a responsible adult attending the pool.

Table and chairs allow you to have a quiet dinner there in summertime at sunset. Other areas available in the garden with table and chairs for eating out.

  • A charcoal barbecue can be provided.

The three levels of a lovely small house (about 54 m²) have been totally renovated recently

Equipment is planned for four guests.


Ground floor: open kitchen, dining/living room. Toilet. TV and Internet.
1st floor: bedroom, shower and toilet.
2nd floor: in the attic. Bedroom, shower
Private garden with  table and chairs. Baking oven.

Note: because of the fairly steep staircases this guesthouse is not suitable to older people and families with young children (1 to 5 y.o.)

This small apartment, with a mezzanine, is located at the top of the Chateau. It has been entirely refurnished recently with today's facilities standard. Total of 47 m². Facing East.

  • Mezzanine (about 12 m²): double bed (160 cm wide) and a single (90 cm)

 

 

Note: because of the number of steps in the winding staircases, this accomodation is not recommended to people not enjoying agood walking balance.
