Touring the castle and its gardens
Château de la Motte is a listed (Additional Inventory of Historical Monuments) 15th century castle, open to tours on week-ends, part of the year. Gardens too.
Furthermore, Jean-Marie will be glad to guide our guests on a complimentary tour once a day upon request. We simply require our guests to agree together in advance re. the schedule, possibly when meeting during dinner the day before.
We organise workshops such as stonecutting and carving, heraldry, calligraphy and illumination, picture framing. For groups, we organise also tours of the castle on selected themes, along with “Ferme Découverte, schools, colleges and associations. Nous consulter au 05 49 85 88 25.
The castle is open for tours: every week-end from April 1st to Sept. 30th.
Hours: from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last tour).
Groups of 10 people minimum: open every day upon reservation.
