Marie-Andree and Jean-Marie will be delighted to welcome you in their listed 15th century castle, surrounded with gardens.

This medieval castle is in an ideal location ! Near Touraine famous for châteaux du Val de Loire and the fine romanesc monuments of Poitou. From this remote past to Futuroscope, a marvel of modern film technology, there is only a short drive away.

Spare some time to discover all these outstanding places !

Château de la Motte is also in very easy reach of the E05/A10 motorway and the TGV station at Châtellerault.

Come and spend a few days or a few weeks with us. Château de la Motte would also be an ideal place for a short stay en route for south-west France or Spain, or to Paris and northern Europe whether on holiday or on business.

The bedrooms are charmingly furnished with antiques furniture but 21st century comfort. There is a large drawing room opening to the hanged terrace garden, a spacious and well decorated dining room and a round library in the main tower.
