デ・ラ・モット城　はフランスの王家の谷、数々の美しいシャトーの散らばるロワー谷の近く、中世のロマンスの眠る古城です。

Château de la Motte is an ancient castle with medieval romance, near the Loire Valley, which is famous for its beautiful French castles.

１４６５年に建造された古城に近づくにつれて、歴史の息づく城壁、エレガントなシャトーシルエット、大きなフラッグが青空に旗めくとんがり屋根の円形タワーが目に飛び込んで来ます。小高いシャトーガーデンを横切り、重い大きな木製ドアをノックするとフランス人夫婦、マリー・アンドレー、ジョン・マリー夫妻の暖かいお出迎え。シャトー・デ・ラ・モットは正真正銘の中世の古城そしてプライベートな心のこもった個人経営のペンション（ベッド・アンド・ブレックファースト）です。フランスの王室を思わせる大きなベッドルーム、そして円形タワーの螺旋階段を上るとタワーの中にはかわいいベッドルーム。中世の夢を楽しんで下さい。

As you approach the castle, which was built in 1465, the castle walls breathing history, the elegant chateau silhouette … and against the blue sky, a grand flag flying from the pointed roof of a round tower … will catch your eyes. Walking across the elevated château garden and knocking on the large heavy wooden door, you will meet the warm and friendly welcome of the French couple, Mme. Marie-Andrée and Mr. Jean-Marie Bardin. Château de la Motte is a real medieval castle, a warm-hearted privately-owned bed and breakfast. The spacious bedrooms remind you of French kings’ rooms and a pretty bedroom is in the round tower reached by the spiral staircase. You can enjoy medieval dreams here.

マリー・アンドレー、ジョン・マリー夫妻は２０００年にこの古城に入居して以来、シャトー・デ・ラ・モットに１歩踏み込むとタイムトラベルするという、別世界の実現に情熱を注いで来ました。フランスのキング、クイーンの世界を思わせる城内のインテリア、そして美しいシャトーガーデンもその１つです。そして朝食とディナーは大きな長いテーブルを囲んでのフレンチグルメフード。２１世紀の快適な設備がブレンドした中世の世界をお楽しみ下さい。

Mme. Marie-Andree and Mr. Jean-Marie have been devoting themselves to create a magical other world since they moved into this castle in 2000. When you step into this castle, you will time-travel to a medieval world. You will sense the world of French Kings and Queens from the interior of the castle, the beautiful medieval gardens and the gourmet French breakfast and dinner in the chateau dining room at the large long table. Enjoy the blend of the Middle Ages and 21^st - century comfort.

• 車で来られる方はモーターウェイE05/A10がすぐ近くですので便利です。

• Château de la Motte can be reached easily from Châtellerault TGV Station. It is possible to arrange a pick-up.
• By car, the E05/A10 Motorway is nearby.
• The leading visual technology theme park, Futuroscope, is a short trip by car. Both adults and children can enjoy the latest visual technology for a whole day.
